The team behind PopcornApps is made up of senior industry leaders with a passion for emerging technology and business models. A critical element is the teams' understanding of Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence best practices. The team has extensive expertise in Telecom, Utilities, Retail, Entertainment, Healthcare and Hospitality industries. We never miss an opportunity to learn and have been fortunate to have a team of advisors who contribute heavily to our strategy and growth.
Our consultants are well versed in creating or streamlining a web presence; a mobile application (Andriod, iOS, Blackberry or Windows Phone) and establishing a social media connect (Facebook, Orkut, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn) for enterprises. Additionally these consultants have an all important skill set of enterprise integration which allows for a deeper appreciation of enabling a business process on a mobile device. Girish leads the strategy execution and operations of the company. He has a wealth of experience in Enterprise IT and technology. Over the last two decades, he has been implementing CRM, Enterprise Integration and Business Intelligence solutions for organizations globally. At PopcornApps, he has been able to leverage this experience and bring a consolidated view to our services across the Mobile, Social and Cloud landscape. His mantra – Never Stop learning.
An avid sports fan, he never misses a chance to organize and play league cricket in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Samvit founded the company along with Girish. He brings over 20 years of experience and has passion for emerging and rapidly evolving technology. His vision helped formulate our strategy around Enterprise Mobility, a nascent and underserved market.
He loves the outdoors and is out hiking or mountain biking every weekend morning– rain or shine!
RS leads our delivery and solutions organization. He has responsibility of all projects and manages design, development and quality assurance. He makes it a point keep up with new and upcoming technology in the cloud and mobile space. He has a dedicated team focused on conceptualizing and developing reusable frameworks &industry specific solutions.
A movie buff, he hopes to direct his own production one day.

These survey & marketing apps provide the capability to dynamically generate questionnaire and survey content based on market/product specific requirements. In addition to enabling the obvious on-the-go feedback from your audience, it also supports customization of forms from the backend question-bank. The app supports an inference engine that controls the questions to be shown based on a specific answer and with a built-in reporting engine and a dashboard, it becomes an intelligent tool for decision making.
The app portfolio for telecom operators include customer self-service for account, service features , bill pay and portfolio management along with customized VoIP applications built for cross-platform availability.
Customer care applications are designed to support Pre-Pay and Post-Pay subscription models, while VoIP applications enable voice, video and text based communication over a broadband connection (3G, 4G, LTE or WiFi). The architecture uses soft-switch to bridge the SIP and RTP into the telecom operator’s network, still leveraging SIP application server to provide the value added services over the data network. The VoIP apps leverage existing back end services for rating, billing and payments.

PopcornApps has a long relationship with EverAfter.com in implementing their Web, mobile and social strategy along with development and maintenance of the backend SalesForce and SugarCRM infrastructure. The Everafter.com platform provides a one stop shop for customers to research, select and manage their wedding venue and event logistics like photography, catering, flower arrangements, rehearsals and guest arrangemnets.
